I strongly recommend Matt, Sallie and the whole Pickens Kane team. I hired them to organize my move from Chicago to Switzerland. They were incredibly professional and instructive from the very beginning, issued a competitive quote that matched our needs, sent a great team that carefully packed our furniture and goods and everything arrived intact and before the deadline at our new home. In May/2020 during the COVID pandemic, Allied agent Matthew B. responded to my quote and immediately followed up. He was very thorough, detailed, honest, and a very pleasant kind man. He helped my mom who was moving to Puerto Rico even though we didn't use their services. The man was selfless, and if I had to use Allied again, I would definitely call Matthew B. he was awesome!

The crew at Pickens Kane did a GREAT job for us in our move from Chicago to Massachusetts in April. Special thanks to Jennifer for setting it up, Kathy for organizing all the logistics and Vance for driving and managing two excellent crews in both IL and MA. From Chicago, IL to Schererville, IN Now that some of the exhaustion has subsided, I just want to say how pleased my husband and I are with the move. John, Reggie, Dee, Donovan and Tony are an excellent team and funny too. They moved through both houses like a very well oiled machine. They worked quickly and efficiently to get all of our stuff loaded on Monday. They delivered on Tuesday and completed the job in just two hours. The packing done by Reggie was phenomenal. I sure am glad I chose to have the kitchen packed, because I certainly would not have done such a great job. Although I haven’t finished unpacking, I am sure I will find nothing broken. I also want to thank you, Adrienne, for taking some of the anxiety out if the process. If we ever have an opportunity to recommend a mover, we would most certainly recommend Pickens Kane / Allied.

They were fantastic moving from from Chicago to London, UK. The guys came to my residence, were organised with the packing and recording of all materials, shipped it very well, safely and in a timely fashion, and worked with a very solid team in London to make the delivery. The entire process, they were very good about communicating with me and being organised.

Matthew Buckley and Sallie Pikrone are the epitome of professionalism. We could not be happier with the service they provided as we moved our family from Chicago to Belgium. From the start, it was clear that they knew every detail and aspect entailed in an international move. We had been so intimidated by this process and they made it much more manageable for us. With 2 small children and our third just one month away from being born, it was a stressful time to be moving. But Pickens-Kane was the one non-stressful aspect of our move. The crews on both sides of the ocean did a fantastic job. Our stuff arrived quickly and was in great shape. We can't recommend this company or the people at Pickens Kane enough.

We moved from Mokena, IL to Hilo Hawaii on September 28, 2017. All of our belongings arrived on October 13, 2017. The sales rep Matt was excellent in coming to our homes to do an inventory of what we needed shipped (3 different residences), and Sallie Allied's coordinator contacted us every step of the way on where the shipment was and when it would be delivered to our destination in Hilo, HI. All was packed professionally and courteously by there crew. When items were delivered in Hawaii the same was done unpacking. I would highly recommend this company if you have to move long distances.

I sent an email request for a quote on May 11, 2017; I completed my move from Chicago, IL to Gilbert AZ on July 28, 2017. From the first point of contact by Scott Leeson, Relocation Consultant to schedule the walk through to the sign off on my inventory after Miroslav Botchev, Van Foreman showed me the empty truck, my experience with Pickens-Kane was amazingly painless! Scott provided a ton of handy packing tips while walking through my home and calculating the estimate. He handed me off to Kathy Strle, Move Coordinator and she was efficient, professional and knowledgeable. When I threw her a curve ball and decided to ship my vehicle via carrier, she didn't miss a beat and had me all taken care of within a few days. In fact, I may call her occasionally just for kicks and giggles because she is so much fun! Finally, Miroslav Botchev (Miro), Van Foreman was the best. He and his team were polite, professional and the most efficient packers I have ever experienced. Miro, contacted me a few days prior to load to confirm his arrival time. He called me again in route to Arizona to update me on his progress. Finally he called the night before to confirm his arrival time; by the way, Miro was early on both pick up and delivery by at least 15 minutes! The icing on the cake? Not one item was broken or missing; every piece of furniture and every box was placed exactly where I wanted it. We've made it from Chicago to Europe w/ kids, pets and what not and I wanted to reach out because I have to say this was by far our best move ever! The crew was amazing, genuinely great guys, and their work was thorough and efficient. Can't recommend them enough!
